THE AFTERMATH
While working with Automatik VFX UK on the feature film The Aftermath, I contributed to several key visual effects shots. One of my main tasks was compositing a bluescreen studio sequence, which involved integrating matte paintings and set extensions to recreate the frozen, moonlit banks of the Elbe River. Additional work included bluescreen compositing for other scenes, texturing burned corpses, enhancing shootout sequences in moving vehicles, and crafting realistic gunshot wounds. A dark and atmospheric project – and a great opportunity to dive deep into cinematic detail work.
